Truck-bike collision kills 2 in Bogura

A head-on collision between a motorcycle and a sand-laden truck has killed both the rider and pillion rider of the motorcycle in Bogura. 

The accident happened on the Bogura-Natore Highway's Jora Krishi College area of Shajahanpur Upazila at around 11:15pm on Friday.

The deceased were identified as Polash Hasan, son of Manik Uddin of Gondogram of the same upazila, and Apel Mahmud, son of Abdur Rahman of the same area. 

Confirming the matter, Shajahanpur Polie Station Officer in Charge Abdul Wadud said the two men on the bike were going from Shajahanpur to Ranirhat when they collided head-on with the truck. The two riders died on the spot. Their bodies were recovered and sent to a hospital.
