81 Rohingyas detained in Bandarban

Members of the law enforcement agency have detained 81 Rohingyas including 31 women and children when they were trying to enter Bangladesh from Myanmar through the Alikadam border.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Rupayan Deb told BSS that the local upazila administration with the help of a law enforcement agency intercepted them on Monday.

Arrested Rohingyas were handed over to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) for the next action, UNO said.
