Train collision with autorickshaw kills 6 in Cumilla

Five passengers and a driver of an autorickshaw died after being hit by a speeding train in Cumilla on Tuesday morning. 

The incident occurred at around 10:30 am at the Bakshimul-Kalikapur area of Burichong Upazila. The deceased were identified as- Bakshimul village's autorickshaw passenger Rafiz Miah, Lutfa Begum, Safarjan, Shanu Begum, Khodaitali village's Ashrayan Project's resident Hosne Ara, and autorickshaw driver Saju. 

Burichong Police Station Officer in Charge Azizul Haque confirmed the matter to the Daily Samakal. He said, the Suborno Express train hit the autorickshaw which was passing through the Kalikapur rail crossing. Four died on the spot, while two died on the way to the hospital. The incident injured two more.
