Saad followers decide to leave Ijtema grounds

Followers of Maulana Saad Kandhalvi have decided to leave the Ijtema grounds in Tongi. After they clear out, the government will take control of the grounds. 

Saad follower Maulana Reza Arif confirmed the matter to journalists after their meeting with five advisers of the interim government at the Secretariat on Wednesday.

"A large number of Zubayer followers are trying to move towards the grounds. From before, many Saad followers are gathered there. As per the government's request, we have decided to leave the grounds to prevent any untoward situation," he said.
