Truck crashes into Kariman, kills 3 in Pabna

Three agricultural labours died after a truck hit their Kariman (shallow engine-run vehicle) in Sathia of Pabna on Friday. Five others were injured in this incident. 

The deceased were identifies as Khokon Islam, 27, Dhoni Pramanik, 50, and Russel Ahmed, 27. 

Confirming the matter, Sathia Police Station Officer in Charge A Latif said, the labours were going to a different area to work early on Friday. They were sitting on a Kariman standing on the Rangamatia area of Sathia-Madhabpur road. A Sathia-bound truck hit the Kariman, killing the three labours instantly. Locals rescued the injured and sent them to a hospital. 

Legal procedures are underway, the OC added.
