Bus-car-bike collision kills 5 on Expressway

A collision between a bus, a private car, and a motorcycle has killed five people on the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway. Four others were injured in the collision that occurred near the Dhaleshwari Toll Plaza at around noon on Friday.

According to eyewitnesses, a child on the motorcycle died on the spot. Eight injured people were being rushed to a hospital when four others died. 

Confirming the matter, Munshiganj Fire Station Deputy Assistant Director Shafiqul Islam said, a Bepari Paribahan bus first hit a private car from behind. The car in turn hit a motorcycle standing in front of it, causing the casualties. 

Members of the fire service and armed forces rushed to the spot and conducted a rescue operation.
