Gas line explosion kills 4 in Habiganj

Four workers were killed while working at a gas line of the Akij Group at Bahubol of Habiganj. Two others were injured in this incident. 

The explosion happened at around 9am on Tuesday at a project under the Akij Venture Limited Company at Putijuri Union of Bahubol, Nabiganj-Bahubol circle ASP Jahirul Islam confirmed. 

All four deceased were from Chandpur district. They were identified as engineer Riaz Uddin, workers Foysol Miah, Mizan Gazi, and Mahfuz Miah. 

According to police, the explosion at a gas transformation line killed Mizan Gazi and Mahfuz Miah on the spot. One died on the way to the hospital and one died while receiving treatment. The two injured were admitted to the hospital.
