18 kidnapped workers rescued from Teknaf in drone operation

18 kidnapped people including forest workers were rescued from the den of armed miscreants at Teknaf of Cox's Bazar. 

They were rescued from a dense forest area under the Hnila Union at around 5pm on Tuesday (December 31), Cox's Bazar RAB-15 Captain Lt. Col. HM Sazzad Hossain confirmed. 

"Our goal was to rescue the workers alive. We started the drive on Tuesday. Mainly the drone operation scared the kidnappers and we were able to rescue them," he said. 

The forest workers were kidnapped on Monday. Later locals and the forest department assisted the police, RAB, and ApBN to rescue the kidnapped workers.
