Motorcyclist killed in Khagrachari road crash

A motorcyclist was killed and another injured in a collision with a cement-loaded truck that ran over him on the Khagrachhari-Chattogram highway in the Alutila area in Khagrachari on Thursday morning.

The deceased was identified as Feroz Mia, 20. He was a day laborer, son of Kamal Hossain hailed from Shilachari of Lama under Bandarban district.

Confirmed the news, office in Charge (OC) of Khagrachari Sadar Police Station Abdul Baten said, "The motorcyclists along with his co-rider were moving toward Matiranga and felt in an accident with a Khagrachari bound cement loaded truck at Alutila 20 no area on Khagrachari-Dhaka-Chattogram highway at around 6:00 am."

Police with the assistance of fire service employees rushed to the spot and sent them to Khagrachari Sadar Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead and the wounded one is under treatment.
