Two motorcyclists die in Sunamganj

Two motorcycle riders related to each other were killed in a road accident in the Sichni area under Shantiganj upazila of Sunamganj on Monday morning. 

The deceased two were identified as Rajin Ahmed, 26, son of Habibur Rahman of Aktapara village in Shantiganj upazila, and Rajin's uncle Amirul Islam, 50, son of late Sayed Mokhoddus Ali, a resident of Nurpur village in Derai upazila of the district.

A CNG-run auto-rickshaw collided head-on with a motorbike on the Sunamganj-Jagannathpur road around 10:30 am, leaving the two bike riders dead on the spot, said M Akram Ali, officer-in-charge of Shantiganj police station.

Police recovered the bodies and sent them to Sadar Hospital morgue. The vehicles involved in the accident were also seized.
