Activist Rafy allegedly attacked in Raozan

Khan Talat Mahmud Rafy, a co-coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement, was allegedly attacked in the Raozan Upazila Auditorium on Monday afternoon. Later, a video of the incident went viral on the social media platform Facebook. 

Raozan activist M Abedin Sajal claimed that the attack was carried out by a man named Abdullah Al Hamid. He is a member of the Chhatra League and the Central Boys of Raozan. Legal steps are being taken in connection with the incident. 

Rafy was allegedly attacked during an event at the auditorium arranged by the Anti-discrimination Students Movement. 

The Daily Samakal tried to contact Rafy by phone, but he could not be reached. 

Raozan Police Station Officer in Charge AKM Safikul Alam told the Daily Samakal that there was some commotion at the event, but he could not confirm any details.
