Road accident kills 3 in Gazipur

Three people died after a pickup van fell in a ditch in Kaliganj of Gazipur. The deceased could not be identified immediately. 

The incident happened at the Haridebpur area of the Gazipur-Ajmatpur-Itakhola Highway on Wednesday morning. The cucumber-laden van from Kishoreganj was on its way to Gazipur when it upturned and fell in the ditch next to the highway. 

Confirming the matter, Kaliganj Police Station SI Sushanta Chandra Sarkar said the bodies of the three deceased were recovered with the help of Kaliganj Fire Service members. Efforts are underway to find their identities.
