Joint forces recover firearms, ammunitions in Rajshahi

A Joint force recovered firearms and ammunition during an anti-crime operation in Pakianpara village under Chargthat Upazila in the district on Thursday night.

''A team of joint forces conducted a raid at Pakianpara village around 1:30 am and recovered a foreign pistol, three one-shooter guns, one magazine, eight rounds of bullets and 3.50 kilograms of explosives used for making hand bombs'', said RAB to BSS.

A press release issued from Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) here this morning said the firearms and explosives were stockpiled to create an unstable and undisciplined situation.

The seized arms and ammunition were handed over to Chargaht Police Station, the release added.
