Collision between ambulance, truck kills 3 including patient

A head-on collision between a truck and an ambulance has killed three people in the Rajabari area of Godagari in Rajshahi. The accident also critically injured three others. 

The three deceased were identified as ambulance driver Jafar Iqbal Jewel, 45, patient Sundori Rani, 65, and her companion Adori Rani, 38. 

Confirming the matter, Godagari Police Station Officer in Charge Ruhul Amin said that Jubon Thakur village's resident Sundori Rani had a stroke. She was rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital in an ambulance early on Monday. A collision with a truck in the Rajabari area killed three on the spot and injured three more. 

The three injured were rescued and admitted to the Rajshahi Medical College Hospital. The truck driver fled the scene after the accident, he added.
