Fire at Savar's Aminbazar Power Grid under control

A massive fire broke out at the Aminbazar 400/230 kV Substation in Savar on Tuesday morning. Nine firefighting units are trying to control the blaze which erupted at around 7:15am. It was brought under control after two hours. 

Fire Service and Civil Defence Media Cell official Md Shahjahan Shikder told the media that eight firefighting units initially reached the spot within five minutes of being informed. Another unit joined in later. The fire was brought under control at around 9:15am. 

The origin of the fire could not be ascertained immediately, he said.
