Two brothers killed in mob lynching, parents injured in Narsingdi

Two brothers were killed in a mob lynching in the Kuritali area of Bhagdi village in Ghorashal under Palash upazila of Narsingdi around 9 pm on Monday. 

Victims’ parents were injured in the incident.

The deceased are Rakib, 25, and Shakib, 20. Ashraf Uddin (50) and Rabeya (45) Khatun were injured.

The police claim that they were lynched on suspicion of being thieves.

However, the families of the deceased allege that they were beaten to death in a planned manner for not paying extortion money.
