Gas cylinder blast kills woman in Manikganj

A woman in Singair Upazila of Manikganj died in a gas cylinder explosion at around 9:30am on Monday. 

The incident occurred at the Madhya Charigram area of the upazila. The deceased was identified as Subarna, 20.

Confirming the matter, Singair Police Station officer-in-charge Toufiq Azam said Subarna is the daughter-in-law of the village's balloon vendor Hasan Miah. She was pumping balloons in the morning when the blast critically injured her and her husband. They were being rushed to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Subarna died on the way.
