Bus-covered van collision kills three in Ramu

A collision between a bus and a covered van in Ramu of Cox's Bazar killed three people, including a father-son duo, on Monday morning. 

The three deceased were identified as Rimjhim Borua, 23, daughter of Himangshu Barua of Ramu's East Rajarkul area, Habib Ullah, 55, of Cox's Bazar Sadar, and his son Riad. The accident occurred at around 8am on the Jetty Road of Rashidnagar Union, on the Chattogram-Cox's Bazar Highway, Ramu Police Station Officer-in-Charge Tyebur Rahman confirmed. 

According to eyewitnesses, a head-on collision occurred between a Chattogram-bound passenger bus and a Cox's Bazar-bound covered van. The bus fell into a paddy field on the side of the road after the accident. Ten people were injured in this crash.
