Another CU student's body recovered in Cox's Bazar

The body of Chattogram University (CU) student Asif Ahmed was recovered 26 hours after he went missing while bathing in the sea at Himchari Beach area of Cox's Bazar.

Local fishermen spotted the body floating near the Nazirartek sea beach area at around 9 am on Wednesday.  Later, members of the Fire Service, Tourist Police, Beach Workers and Sea Safe Life Guards recovered the body and sent it to the Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital. 

Asif Ahmed was the son of Rafiqul Islam, a resident of Naruli Dakshin in Bogura Sadar upazila. He was a first-year student in Development Studies Department at CU.

The body of KM Sadman Rahman Sabab, a first-year student at the Department of Development Studies, was found on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, Aritra Hasan, 22, Asif Ahmed, 22, and KM Sadman Rahman went missing when they were taking a bath in the sea at the Himchari Beach area of Cox's Bazar. While two bodies were recovered, Aritra Hasan remains missing.
