BSF pushes 7 persons into Bangladesh through Jamalpur frontier

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) have pushed seven people, including four women, into Bangladesh through the Dhanua Kamalpur border in Bakshiganj Upazila of Jamalpur district.

Dhanua Kamalpur UP Member Motaleb Miah said they heard about the push-in from India and notified the BGB after spotting seven people near Pillar No. 1083. Later, BGB members detained them. 

The detained people said they all went to India in 2021 and were living in Delhi. BSF pushed them through the border early on Thursday. 

Officer-in-charge, Bakshiganj Police Station, Khandakar Shaker Ahmed, said BGB handed the seven people to the police. He said after an interrogation, legal action would be taken against them.
