15 injured in multiple vehicle crash near Padma Bridge toll plaza

A collision between five vehicles near the Padma Bridge toll plaza at Louhajang in Munshiganj has injured 15 people. The crash occurred at around 11am on Friday. 

According to locals, the brake of a Mawa-bound Imad Paribahan bus from Dhaka broke down near the toll plaza. It crashed into an Ilish Paribahan bus, A Gosairhat Express bus, a private car, and a jeep, injuring 15 people.

Confirming the matter, Hasara Highway Police Officer-in-Charge Abdul Quader Jilani said the situation was brought under control quickly and the traffic on the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway is now back to normal.
