Tangail pickup-motorcycle collision kills 3

A head-on collision between a pickup van and a motorcycle at Dhanbari of Tangail has killed three and injured one more. 

The accident occurred at the Bilaspur Battala area of Dhanbari at around 6:30am on Thursday. 

Dhanbari Police Station Duty Officer Farid Sheikh has confirmed the matter.

The three deceased were identified as Al Amin, 30, Swapan Miah, 35, and Jewel Rana, 32. The injured man was identified as Md Sani, 18. 

According to police and eyewitnesses, the Jamalpur-bound pickup van collided with a motorcycle coming from the opposite side. The collision killed the pickup van driver and a rider of the bike. The other two injured were taken to a hospital, where one more person died.
