23 more people pushed in through Ghagra border in Panchagarh

The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has pushed 23 people through the Ghagra border in Panchagarh early on Wednesday. 

Members of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained them as they were pushed in at the no. 2 sub pillar area of main pillar 757 at Ghagra border of Harivasa union, under the Nilphamari 56 BGB Battalion. They were detained and handed over to the police. 

According to the Police and BGB, there are 13 women, 9 men and one child among them. Initially, it was found that they were from Jashore, Satkhira, Lalmonirhat, and Narail. 

Confirming the matter, Panchagarh Sadar Police Station Officer in Charge Abdullah-hil-Jaman said their identities are being verified.
