3 passengers of a bike die in Dhaka-Mawa Expressway crash

Three people died in a motorcycle accident on the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway late on Thursday. The accident injured another person. 

Confirming the matter, Srinagar Hasara Highway Police Station Officer in Charge, Md Abu Naim Siddique, said a Dhaka-bound Pulser motorcycle was carrying four people at once. The bike's driver lost control of the steering because of the rain, and the vehicle fell on the service lane in front of Nimtola Modern Green City in Sirajdikhan at around 11pm. A vehicle coming from the opposite direction crushed them under its wheels and fled the scene. 

Two people died on the scene. They were identified as Awlad Hossain, 23, and Habil Miah, 22. Locals rescued two others, who were identified as Kaiyum, 22, and Emon, 20. They were rushed to the Nimtola Ideal Clinic, where the duty doctor declared Kaiyum dead. All the victims are from Sirajdikhan Khilpara Village.
