Truck hits army vehicle in Rajshahi, injures 8

A truck hit an army patrol vehicle in Mohonpur in Rajshahi, injuring eight army personnel. One of them was critically injured and admitted to the Rajshahi Medical College Hospital. 

The incident happened at around 5am on Tuesday, near Mohonpur Model Town, Mohonpur Police Station Officer in Charge Ataur Rahman confirmed. 

He said a truck hit an army patrol vehicle from behind. Both vehicles fell into a ditch next to the road after the collision. It injured eight army personnel. 

Sipahi Md Jewel Rana was admitted to the Rajshahi Medical College Hospital. The others received first aid. 

The truck's driver and assistant are in army custody.
