Two brothers brutally killed in Chuadanga over land dispute

Two brothers - Minta Mia (60) and Hamza Ali (45) - were allegedly beaten and stabbed to death by rivals over a land dispute in Utholi village under Jibannagar of Chuadanga district.

The attack took place around 8:00 am on Saturday while the brothers, sons of the late Khude Mandal from Boro Masjid Para, were working in a field near Bridge No. 72.

Locals reported that the assailants, driven by prior enmity, attacked Minta and Hamza with sticks and sharp weapons. 

The victims were rushed to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital, where Dr. Wahid Mahmud Robin confirmed that Hamza succumbed to his injuries first, followed by Minta, who died from excessive bleeding during treatment.

The incident has created tension in the area. 

Jibannagar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Mamun Hossain Biswas stated that police have been dispatched to the scene, and an investigation into the murders is underway.
