Khagrachari district council chairman terminated

The government has “permanently terminated” Khagrachari Hill District Council Ziruna Tripura from his position, Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Ministry said in a statement.

According to the statement Tripura abstained from discharging his responsibilities.

It said the order was issued enforcing Section of 12(1) of the Khagrachari Hill District Council Act, 1989.
