Bus-microbus collision kills 5 in Chokoria

A head-on collision between a bus and a microbus has killed five people. 

Among the deceased are four women and a child, all from the same family and passengers of the microbus. 

The accident happened at the Fashiakhali Army Camp area of Chokoria Upazila in Chattogram on the Cox's Bazar-Chattogram Highway at around 9:30 am on Wednesday, Malumghat Highway Police Officer-in-Charge Md Mehedi Hasan confirmed to the Daily Samakal. 

Both vehicles were seized, and efforts are underway to identify the five deceased, the OC said.
