School bus torched in Manikganj, driver suffers burns

Miscreants have set fire to a school bus of The Holy Child School and College in Shibalay of Manikganj. The driver was asleep in the bus and sustained burn injuries. 

The bus was parked at the Falsatia Bus Stand in Shibalay on the Dhaka-Aricha Highway. The miscreants set fire to it around midnight. A unit of the Fire Service and Civil Defence brought the fire under control. 

Critically injured driver Tabez Khan, 45, was sent to the National Institute of Burn & Plastic Surgery in Dhaka for better treatment. 

Confirming the matter, Shibalay Police Station Officer in Charge S M Aman Ullah said legal measures are underway in the incident.
