Shah Satyapir Mazar in Thakurgaon vandalised

A shrine in Thakurgaon town, known as the Baba Shah Satyapir Mazar, was reportedly vandalised early on Saturday. 

The damage was discovered on Saturday morning when local residents and devotees visited the site after the Fajr prayers. As news spread, a large number of followers gathered at the shrine.

Graveyard and Mazar Committee General Secretary Maolana Azizul Islam Babul condemned the vandalism and called for those responsible to be identified and brought to justice.

Thakurgaon Police Superintendent, Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer, members of DB Police, Sadar Thana Police and Thakurgaon 50 BGB visited the spot.
