Gunfire on Cox's Bazar court premises injures 2

Two Swechchasebak Dal leaders were shot in a gunfire that took place between two factions of the party in Cox's Bazar court premises.

The shot-hit Swechchasebak Dal leaders are Mohiuddin and Roni. 

A total of five people were injured in the incident.

The incident took place at around 11 am on Sunday in the premises of the Cox's Bazar District and Sessions Judge Court.

Police said that Liakat Ali Member, General Secretary of Jhilonja Union BNP in Cox's Bazar Sadar, went to the court with his associates to appear in the case. On his way out after the appearance, the opposing faction opened fire on him.

Cox's Bazar Additional Superintendent of Police Ahidur Rahman said that three people have been detained so far in the incident. 

The injured have been taken to Cox's Bazar District Sadar Hospital, he added.
