Huge tailback on Dhaka-Tangail Highway

Passengers have been suffering immensely on Dhaka-Tangail highway as vehicles are moving slowly due traffic tailback.

A 26-kilometre tailback stretching from Dulla Mansur area to Tangail and another 8-kilometre tailback stretching from Mirzapur to Gorai were created on the highway since last night.

The tailback has been created due to huge pressure of vehicles as holidaymakers are making return journey after Eid, said Golam Kibria, sub-inspector of Gorai highway police.
