Dhaka’s rail link with north and south restored

Rail communication of Dhaka with northern and southern districts of the country has been restored after four and a half hours.

The rail links suspended this morning after rains washed away soil under the railway tracks in Chatmohor upazila of Pabna.

Mohammad Jahurul Islam, Assistant Manager of Chatmohor Railway Station, said the train service through the route was suspended around 6:00am and resumed after repair works around 10:30am.
