7 sentenced to death for businessman Milon murder in Gazipur

A Gazipur court has sentenced seven people to death for the murder of businessman Milon Bhuiyan. 

Gazipur District and Sessions Judge AKM Enamul Haque announced the verdict on Monday morning.

Besides, the court also sentenced five years imprisonment to a person and acquitted two others.     

The death row convicts are: Razeeb Hossain aka Raju, 29, Md Quayyum, 32, Md Razeeb Hossain, 29, Md Farooq Hossain, 32, Md Shafiqul Islam aka Parvez, 33, Md Ali Hossain aka Hossain Ali, 34, and Mohammad Ali aka Chhoto Ali, 27.

According to the case statement, the accused hacked local businessman Milon Bhuiyan to death at Bhawal National Park on February 26, 2011.
