Man held with 130 gold bars at Shah Amanat

A passenger was arrested with 130 gold bars at Chittagong's Shah Amanat International Airport on Friday morning.

The arrest was made after he landed from a flight of Air Arabia came from Sharjah shortly after 8 am, said Airport Manager Wing Commander Sarwar E Zaman.

The customs intelligence official said that the seized gold weighs 15.63 kg and worth is about Tk 6.5 crore.
