4 members of a family slaughtered in Tangail

Four members of the same family, including a woman, were brutally slaughtered by unidentified miscreants. 

The incident took place at a house in Uttara residential area of Madhupur municipal town.

When the locals became suspicious over the lock of the gate of the house for several days, they broke the lock and went inside and found the bodies lying there and informed the police.

The deceased have been identified as Gani Mia, 45, his wife Kaziron alias Buchi, 37, their son Tazel, 16, and daughter Sadia, 9.

Madhupur Circle Assistant Superintendent of Police Kamran Hossain said nothing could be said about the murder. A team of PBI and CID experts from the district is coming to the spot to unravel the mystery of the murder.
