College teacher, among two, killed in Ramu road crash

Two people, including a college teacher, were killed when a fish-loaded mini-truck hit them in Ramu of Cox’s Bazar. 

Another school teacher was injured in the incident that took place around 6am on Wednesday.

The deceased were identified as Professor Shafiul Alam, 55, son of late Chand Mia Saudagar of Jowarianala Ghonarpara area of the upazila, and Mahabub Morshed Amin, 56, son of late Nur Ahmed Sikder of Sikdar Para in the same union. 

Borhan Uddin, 55, a teacher of Jowarianala HM Sanchi High School, was seriously injured in the accident.
