Clinic owner slaughtered to death in Tangail

Anisur Rahman Anis, owner of a private clinic at Delduar in Tangail, was slaughtered to death by unidentified miscreants. 

Police recovered his body from the canal connecting the Herendrara Dhaleshwari river in Lauhati union of Delduar on Tuesday afternoon.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Delduar Police Station Chhayedul Islam said locals found a body in the canal. Upon receiving the news, the police went to the spot and recovered the body, he added.

Police are investigating the reasons behind the killing and are trying to arrest those involved, the OC continued.
