3 bikers killed in Natore road crash

Three men riding a motorcycle were killed on early Sunday after the two-wheeler fell into a road side ditch at Duaria in Lalpur upazila of Natore.

The deceased were identified as Foysal, Sajib and Sohan of Razapur area in Baraigram upazila, reports UNB.

The motorbike hit a roadside tree, leaving them dead on the spot, said Selim Reza, officer-in-charge of Lalpur Police Station.

Police recovered the bodies and sent them to local hospital morgue.

The number of road crashes and casualties on Bangladesh’s roads and highways marked a sharp rise in November last as 439 people were killed and 682 others injured in 417 accidents during the month, according to a report by the Road Safety Foundation (RSF), an organisation working to ensure safer roads.
