6 killed in Shailkupa road crash

Six passengers of Karimon, a locally-made small vehicle, were killed and four others injured when a truck hit it at Shailkupa in Jhenaidah.

Shamim Ahmed, in-charge of the local Ramchandrapur police outpost, said the incident took place around 7:30 pm on Wednesday. 

The six killed were welding workers; all of whom were passengers of Karimon, he said, adding, the identities of the victims could not be known immediately.
