Poet Enayet Hossain no more

Poet and rhymer Enayet Hossain breathed his last at his home in the Baitul Aman railway area of Faridpur town on Saturday morning. He was 76 years old.

Enayet Hossain, known as the poet of contemporary in Faridpur, has left many admirers including his wife, three sons and a daughter to mourn his death.

He was laid to eternal rest at the local Kamalapur Matir Gurustan (graveyard) offering Namaz-e-Janaza at the Jame Mosque adjacent to his home after Zohr prayers on Saturday.

At the time, social worker Professor MA Samad, Dr Khabirul Islam, Chairman of the North Chalnal Union Mostakuzzaman were present, among others.

Dhaka University Alumni Association President and Daily Samakal Publisher A. K. Azad, Samakal's advisory editor Abu Sayeed Khan, Faridpur Sahitya O Sanskriti Unnayan Sangstha President Abul Fayez Shahnewaz have expressed deep grief over the death of Enayet Hossain and condolences to the bereaved family members.
