RMCH records five more fatalities in Covid-19 unit

Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) recorded five more fatalities at its Covid-19 unit in the last 24 hours till 6am on Tuesday.

With this, the death toll rose to 132 so far this month.

RMCH Director Brigadier General Dr Shamim Yazdani told newsmen that two of the deceased were the residents of Naogaon, while one each from Rajshahi, Chapainawabganj and Pabna districts.

Among the five new fatalities, two were male and three female, he added.

Some twenty-three other patients returned home from the RMCH Covid-19 unit after being cured during the time.
