UP member candidate shot in Cox's Bazar

Union Parishad (UP) member candidate Rezaul Karim was shot by unidentified miscreants at Totakkhali Battali of PMkhali Union in Cox's Bazar Sadar Upazila on Monday night.

He is the son of Abul Kalam Azad, a former member of Ward No. 3 of PMkhali Union.

He was admitted to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital with gunshot wounds at 10:30 pm.

Rezaul Karim, former president of PMkhali Union Chhatra League, is the member candidate of Ward No 3.

Cox's Bazar Superintendent of Police (in charge) Rafiqul Islam said that the police are on spot and are trying to identify and arrest the miscreants.
