Three siblings among four die after being cut in train

Four people, including three brothers and sisters, were killed when a train ran them over at Boubazar of Kundapukur Union in Nilphamari Sadar around 8am on Wednesday.

The deceased have been identified as Rima Akhter, 7, Reshma, 4, and son Mominur Rahman, 3, children of Abul Hossain of Boubazar village, and Shamim Hossain, 26, son of Nawab Anwar Hossain of the same village.

According to the locals, the three brothers and sisters were playing in the morning next to the railway line near their house. 

At that time, when the Chilahati-bound rocket mail train which had left Khulna went in front of them, the neighbour Shamim Hossain went to save the three brothers and sisters and all four of them were killed, locals added.
