RMCH records two more fatalities in Covid-19 unit

Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) recorded two more deaths in its Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours till 6am on Saturday.

RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani said one of the deceased was a resident of Rajshahi, while another was from Chapainawabganj, reports BSS.

The duo died with post-Covid-19 complexity and its symptoms.

Meanwhile, one more patient was admitted to the Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours, taking the number of admitted patients to 25, including nine tested positive for Covid-19, at present.

Four other patients returned home after being cured during the time.

On the other hand, five more patients were found Covid-19 positive after testing 124 samples in Rajshahi's two laboratories on Friday, showing 5 percent infection rate in Joypurhat, while 9.52 percent in Chapainawabganj.
