Another university student tortured to death by husband

A university student has allegedly been tortured to death by her husband for realizing dowry. 

Anisul Islam, husband of victim Mahmuda Khanam alias Akhi, has been arrested in connection with the incident.

Akhi was an LLB student at a private university in the city.

Mahmuda’s elder brother Nizam Uddin filed a case with the city's Chandgaon police station on Sunday night, police said. 

Anisul has been accused in the murder case, he added.
