Schoolboy stabbed to death on his way back from fair

A schoolboy named Mohammad Fahim, 15, was stabbed to death in Eidga Kacha Rastamatha area of Pahartali Police Station in Chittagong around 12:00 am on Friday.

The deceased was a ninth grader of Mansurabad Public Works Vidyaniketan in Fahim Nagar.

Another teenager named Emon, aged between 14 and 15, was injured. 

In this regard, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Pahartali Police Station Mustafizur Rahman said that Fahim had gone to a fair in Halishahar area of Pahartali Police Station with his friends. 

On the way back from the fair, friends had an argument with Fahim. At one stage of altercation, Fahim and his friend Emon were stabbed in the incident.

When Fahim was taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital in critical condition, doctors declared him dead. Besides, Fahim's friend Emon is undergoing treatment.
