Cumilla city polls on June 15

Elections to the Cumilla City Corporation will be held on June 15, according to the Election Commission.

Election Commission Secretary Humayun Kabir Khandaker announced the schedule after attending a commission meeting at its office in the city's Agargaon..

Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Habibul Awal presided over the meeting.

Last date for submitting nomination papers is May 17, deadline for evaluating nomination papers is May 19, and the last date for withdrawing candidature is May 26.
