Millions of devotees in the congregation of Shahi Eidgah in Sylhet

Millions of devotees gathered for Eid Jamaat at the historic Shahi Eidgah ground in Sylhet.

Pir Maulana Rashidur Rahman Faruque of Baruna led the main congregation of Eid in the city at 8:30 am on Tuesday.

Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen, Mayor of Sylhet City Corporation Ariful Haque Chowdhury and Motawalli Zahir Waqt of Shahi Eidgah gave brief speeches on Eid greetings to the worshipers before the prayers.

Worshipers have been gathering at the Shahi Eidgah since the Fajr prayers on Tuesday to perform Eid prayers.
