Daily Star journo Refayet Ullah's mother passes away

Dilruba Begum, mother of The Daily Star senior reporter Mohammad Refayet Ullah Mirdha, has died on Thursday due to prolong illness. She was 75.

"My mother breathed her last at our Shekhergaon village home under Monohordi Police Station in Narsingdi district at 8.30 in the morning," Refayet Ullah told BSS.

Dilruba was laid to eternal rest at her family graveyard following a namaz-janaza after Asr prayers.

She is survived by three sons, four daughters, a host of relatives and admirers.
